Your words belong where people read them

Every page on your website has a few places Google reads to work out what the page is about: its name in Google's results, the short summary under it, its main headline, its web address and the written descriptions on its photos. Those are where your customers' words do the most good. Some websites also offer a place to enter keywords. Add a few there if yours does, but Google's own starter guide says it "doesn't use the keywords meta tag," so the minutes that count go into the other places.

“Your customers' words do the most good in the places your customers read too.”

From the section on where your words go on each page.
